FRENCH FOR KIDS
Want your child to pick up French as a second or third language?
Sign up your child (age 7~11) for our French for Kids course. At this critical age, learning a language happens naturally, just as babies learn to speak their first language or walk.
Through activities that are interesting, rewarding and fun, you child will develop all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) to an impressive level of language use.

    Profile of the Ideal Candidate

  • Native proficiency in French language

    Excellent communication skills in French (written, spoken)

    Language-related degree (French language, French literature, Journalism)

    Minimum 2 years teaching experience

    Very Good English skills (spoken, written)

    Passionate about languages

    Creative and fun

    Bubbling with loads of energy

    Fantastic interpersonal skills

    Outgoing, friendly, open-minded and culturally-sensitive

    Computer savvy, comfortable with the use of technology

    Age range: 23-40

  • 5 days of teaching (4 weekdays and 1 weekend)

    2 off days per week (Fri-Sat OR Sun-Mon)

    Additional day for teacher training whenever necessary

    Maximum 35 hours of teaching per week

    14 days of paid leave per year

    Candidates not willing to work one weekend and evenings need NOT apply

  • One-to-one lesson at student's house/office/our language centre

    Small Group lesson at company/language centre

    • Scope of Responsibilities

  • Teach French as a Foreign Language to Frenchfaster clients.

    Make appropriate lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students.

    Prepare, select and use learning materials for students.

    Assist in the creation of new learning materials.

    Assess students’ level during classes enrollment.

    Provide oral and, if necessary, written feedback to students.

    Prepare students for various exams (DELF, IB, GCE, GCSE, MOELC, etc)

    Provide academic support to students through consultations.

    Carry out administrative and record-keeping tasks associated with teaching and assessment (e.g. student progress report, attendance record).

    Contribute to course and module development.

    Provide teaching cover in the absence of other colleagues.

    Participate in and contribute to the social activities of the learning centre.

    Be a positive ambassador for Frenchfaster.

    Participate in staff development and professional training as required.

    Attend meetings as required.
